Voices of Casey online choir
When: Monday nights, 7.30pm
Isolation won’t stop the Voices Of Casey from singing! Throughout term three, the choir will gather online, every Monday to sing a mix of well-known classics, pop and modern songs. The Voices of Casey is always open to new people to share the fun, friendship, and the enjoyment of singing together.

National Gallery of Victoria’s Under 5’s: Native Plants
When: Wednesday 5 August, 10am – 10.20am
Share in your child’s learning and discover together the artworks from the NGV collections. These online Under 5’s sessions are designed for children aged two to five years and their parents or carers. This particular Native Plants workshop is inspired by the way Aboriginal Australians cook and prepare foods in Australia. Families can enjoy a discussion about artwork, followed by an art-making demonstration.

Resume Writing Workshop
When: Monday 3 August, 1.00pm-3:30pm
A well-written resume can have a big influence on securing your next job. In this free resume writing workshop, you will learn how to build your CV to promote your skills and achievements. You will also practice writing in the right way for your profession and industry. You will be provided with useful templates and examples so you can learn as you go and finish the workshop with a great resume to secure your next job.

Attracting bees and butterflies to your garden
When: Thursday 6 August, 7:30pm – 9pm
Are you wanting to attract more wildlife into your garden? The City of Casey’s environment team is hosting twelve online sessions to help you build a wildlife-friendly garden. This session will teach you how to attract bees and butterflies to your garden and why they are an important part of your gardens’ ecosystem.

Learn how to be more sustainable with your waste
When: Thursday 13 August, 6:30pm
Hear from a panel of experts in the sustainability sector about recycling, sustainable waste options and how you can use food waste in your garden. After the panel discussion, there will be a questions and answers session, where you can ask the experts how you can be more sustainable with your waste.

Paint Frida Kahlo – Online Wine & Paint Session
When: Friday 21 August, 6:45pm – 9:00pm
If you’re looking to learn a new skill while in isolation, then this painting class is the perfect way to help grow your painting talent! From the comfort of your home, you will learn how to paint Frida Kahlo, the Mexican painter and feminist icon. The class will be run by a professional artist, who will help and guide you through the different techniques. No experience is necessary; you just need to be ready to try something new.

Online BodyART exercise classes
When: Mondays, 10am
Start your week right with a free online BodyART class every Monday morning at 10am. Every class uses a mixture of exercises from yoga, pilates and tai chi. BodyART incorporates short cardio bursts with fun and upbeat music to keep you motivated during the class. You will also finish practicing breathing and meditation techniques to help reduce stress.
