DIY Beeswax Wrap Making

You better bee-lieve it, Pakenham Library are running a free beeswax wrap making workshop! Beeswax wraps are a natural, low-impact and reusable alternative to using plastic cling wrap in your kitchen or lunchbox. Learn how to make your very own at Pakenham Library on Saturday, 14 September at 10:30am.

Dinosaurs & Fossils for Kids

Museums Victoria is presenting a fun filled holiday program all about dinosaurs! Held at Cranbourne library on Monday, 23 September from 10:15am, kids are invited to touch real, life-size replicas, of dinosaur fossils from the Museum Victoria’s collection and learn about ancient time periods. You’ll have a mini-palaeontologist on your hands in no time!

The Vegan Festival Market

Food-lovers unite at this year’s Vegan Festival Market, hosted by The Mermaid Sorority group. This wholesome festival features cruelty-free, ethical, sustainable and vegan brands that are good for both you and the planet. Discover delicious vegan food at the abundance of stalls and trucks whilst listening to live music from local artists. This free event is happening at Bunjil Place on Sunday, 22 September.

Introduction to Auslan

Ever wanted to learn a new language? Why not try Auslan, the official sign language of the Australian deaf community. Casey Cardinia Libraries are hosting a series of free ‘Introduction to Auslan’ sessions, where you can learn the Auslan alphabet, how to greet people and more. Head on down to Pakenham Library on Saturday, 7 September at 10:30am to learn an amazing new skill.

Casey Soccer Mums

Tired of sitting on the sidelines while kids have all the fun? Casey Comets Football Club is hosting free soccer classes for women this September – all about learning the basics of playing the game in a fun and social environment. With no experience required, this is a great way to get active and learn a new sport.
