Botanic Gardens Day

What better way to celebrate National Botanic Gardens Day than by exploring the beautiful gardens at Wilson Botanic Park? On Sunday 26 May, the Casey City Council is partnering with Botanic Gardens Australia and New Zealand to host a range of fun activities at Wilson Botanic Park. From 11:00am to 2:00pm, enjoy a range of activities including children’s entertainment, musicians, guided walking tours and more.

Berwick Farmers Market

Held at the historic Old Cheese Factory in Berwick, this farmers’ market caters for all your local produce needs. From artisan bread to fresh fruit and veggies, Berwick Farmers Market is the perfect way to spend an autumn morning supporting your local community. Plastic Free July Talk

Want to reduce your use of single-use plastic, but not sure where to start? Come to the Merinda Park Learning & Community Centre on Thursday 6 June to learn all about the ‘Plastic Free July’ initiative. This free event will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. It’s that time of year again, footy season! There is no better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than all rugged up, cheering on your favourite team. Head down to the next match held on Sunday 9 June at 2:10pm to see the Casey Demons take on the Collingwood Magpies at the Casey Fields sports grounds.

Winter Arts Festival

Get to know your local arts scene during the 17th annual Winter Arts Festival in the City of Casey. Held for three months between June, July and August, the festival presents a range of culturally diverse live music, theatre productions, art exhibitions, school holiday activities and more.
