Girls’ Softball Classes

There’s no better way to stay warm this winter than running around outside and trying a new sport.

Casey Council is hosting a free introductory program to softball for women of all ages, cultures and abilities.

Learn the basic rules and skills of the game from qualified coaches and meet new people in a friendly and social environment. The program is being held at Casey Central Park on Tuesday 6 August.

Origami for Kids

Discover the ancient art of Japanese paper folding in this special workshop just for kids.

Hosted by Endeavor Hills Library on Saturday 10 August, this free workshop teaches children how to make their very own origami sculptures.

Fizzle and Pop Science Show

Get excited – the Fizzle and Pop Science Show is coming to town!

Head on down to Bunjil Place Library on Saturday 18 August to enjoy a free kid’s show which combines science and fun.

With plenty of hands-on opportunities and amazing demonstrations, this is a family day out not to be missed.

Casey Demons vs Frankston – VFL

With the 2019 VFL season drawing to a close, take this chance to watch your local Casey Demons take on the Frankston Dolphins at their home ground of Casey Fields.

Playing at 2:00pm on Sunday, 18 August, this is a game not to be missed.

Girls Badminton Classes

Looking for a cool new sport to try?

Casey Council are hosting free badminton classes for girls at Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre. With equipment and professional training provided, all you need to bring is yourself, some comfortable running gear and an attitude focused towards trying something new.

Sessions are running from 9 August until 31 August and you can register online at the Casey Council website: casey.vic.gov.au/events/badminton-women

Winter Arts Festival

Get to know your local arts scene during the 17th annual Winter Arts Festival in the City of Casey.

Held for three months during June, July and August, the festival presents a range of culturally diverse live music performances, theatre productions, art exhibitions, school holiday activities and more.
